This FC TORO tournament is organized once a year around the celebration of the Haitian Flag day in May, for boys and girls.

This annual tradition has strengthened the existing collaboration between FC TORO and other football clubs in Haiti, and has paved the way for new opportunities and initiatives. Our FLAGDAY tournament receives a strong media coverage. FLAGDAY tournament is also an opportunity to gather the FC TORO family of relatives, friends and supporters...This is an event not to be missed !!!

 

This year the FLAGDAY tournament took place from April 14 to May 18, 2018 on 5 fields including:  Sainte-Marie (Canape-vert), Sainte-Therese (Petion-Ville), Saint-Vincent de Paul (Thomassin 25) in addition to Carrefour and the Sylvio Cator stadiums. and involved the participation of 22 clubs for a total of 64 teams in male categories  U11, U13, U15 and U17, and U13 and U18 in female categories.

 

90 matches were played between 1215 players from various regions of Haiti including Gonaïves - Gressier -Léogane - Pétion-Ville - Port-au-Prince and its surroundings: Croix-des-missions, Cité Soleil, and Delmas!

 

The semi - finals took place from May 11 to 13.

Finals were played at Parc Sainte-Therese on May 18th!

​

In boys categories, NGSAC U9 won against Sainte Marie in penalties; U11 Sixième sens defeated NGSAC in penalties; Sainte Marie U13 defeated FC Champion 1-0; FC TORO U15 defeated ASG 3-0 and FC TORO U17 won 2-1 against Sixieme sens.

In girls categories, FC TORO U13 won 4-0 against Sainte Marie and U18 Respire defeated FC TORO 1-0.

As per usual, our staff and players had the opportunity to provide feedback on the tournament and express their expectations for the future!
